| I'm guessing this topic is somewhere in the archives so I thought I'd start a new one I watched Fireproof recently, and I really liked it!!! not as much as FTG but it's definitely worth a watch!! It made me consider the whole pornography thing some more... I never really thought of it from the perspective of the wife, so that was eye opening for me... _________________ "While I'm waiting I will serve You While I'm waiting I will worship While I'm waiting I will not faint I'll be running the race Even while I wait"

| What's your favorite part? My favorite part is when they're in the bay... "If I haven't told you that you are a good man... you are. And if I haven't told you that I've forgiven you... I have. And if I haven't told you that I love you... I do. Is it too late to ask you to grow old with me?" Oh my, I got tears in my eyes just writing that. I was reading that part in the book last night and shivers ran up and down my body and I just started crying. OK, girl, STOP CRYING. *says to self* I'm trying!! Anyway... |

| There's a book????????? My favourite part is.....hmmm i like the bit that you mentioned that was really touching!! but I think I liked when he finally decides to free himself from his addiction and takes the pc outside and totally destroys it, then realizes the neighbours watching ohh and I liked the part where the wife tells her mum how she feels about her husband looking at pornography, like i said before that was eye opening for me (wide eyed lol) _________________ "While I'm waiting I will serve You While I'm waiting I will worship While I'm waiting I will not faint I'll be running the race Even while I wait"

| Yes, ma'am, and it's gooood! Yeah, the computer and trash can smashing scenes were hilarious! You know, I'd never thought about it from a wife's perspective before either... "When did I stop being good enough for him?" |

| You hadn't thought about it from that persepctive? I thought that, being female, it would be the obvious perspective! I know I had....we even had a chat to make it clear where we both stood on it. Anyway...I think I might have.... So, the last film I watched was Hot Fuzz. It was amusing. |

| I don't know I guess it isn't something I thought about very much and when I did it was more like it's not kool for teenage guys to look at that kind of stuff (older men as well ok well anyone) and that was it. I used to be one of those people who thought it was normal for practically all teenage guys to look at it at some point, then I became a Christian and realized they are Christian guys out there who do make an effort to keep far away from that kind of stuff I never thought about it within a marriage context though... _________________ "While I'm waiting I will serve You While I'm waiting I will worship While I'm waiting I will not faint I'll be running the race Even while I wait"

I couldn't watch a lot of it.. it was good though, very thought provoking and gut wrenching! Moving Mcallister... funny, weird, amusing, thought provoking... Anythng with Jon Heder definitely has the element of weird! |

| I've been watching disney movies...which is weird cause I hate them. Anyway, I'm analyzing them from a social worker point of view. I'm pretending I'm counseling them...okay, I know, weird, but I have a lot of time on my hands, and I'm out of school. I need to keep it fresh. So, Little Mermaid 2, and Cinderella 2 and 3. Honestly, I have no idea why! It's sort of related, but in Tv, I find myself watching scrubs a lot...it's on, and I think I like it... But Robin Hood on BBC America is my all time favorite... |

Oooo! I like that one! There are some "questionable" parts in that, but the story is AMAZING!
I just watched Disney's Tarzan. It was on tv and I needed some brainless relaxation. Unfortunately, it ended up not be so brainless. There's a lot to think about in that movie! Very pro evolution, and yet very heavy emphasis on the fact that humans are different. There's a lot more character devolopment than I thought Disney capable of! |
