| Me too! I hate it when they try to "improve" on a good book. It ruins the story altogether. |

| "Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning" It was all right. They did great casting on the older Anne, but I don't know.... It had good moments and bad moments. _________________ Jennifer "Youth comes but once in a lifetime." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I hear a lot of people say that about a lot of movies to books. I personally don't mind if they are slightly different--I mean, if someone dies that wasn't supposed too--that's a nono... I try to appreciate it for what it is. You cannot put everything in a movie, and I know we all understand that. But I like how they create the world of the authors in their movies... I try judging seperately...
And the last movie--or part--I saw was dead poets society. I watched up until the suicide. I had to stop or I wasn't going to sleep. It's a bad time of year for me to think about suicide... |

| Kit Kittredge. My family started watching Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark but after the first five minutes, my little sister turned away and then we saw gross spiders crawling all over these guys. Then we saw a skeleton and my mom decided not to let my little sister watch it and I popped Kit into my laptop and we had my little sister watch that. Then about a third of the way through (at the very beginning of the scene with the poisoned dates) my younger brother started getting scared and he didn't like it so we stopped watching it and my brother went out and started watching Kit with Caitlin. They were laughing like crazy and Dad said, "Sounds like a better movie out there" and we all went out and ended up watching the last 2/3 of Kit. _________________ Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new - Albert Einstein |

| It's not quite a film, but the last thing I've been watching has been Band of Brothers, a WW2 series that was shown on TV here a good 10 years or so ago. I don't know if it's been shown in other countries at all... It's well worth watching though, as it's really well made. |
