Well, it may be hard, but if it's against your parent's wishes, then it's a good move on your part to break up with him. You want to honor your parents in what you do.

I'm praying your parents learn how to handle with this the right way. - And I think so too, You may need to figure out how you feel about being mennonite before you can make the decision about skyler, Just don't let whatever of Us or your friends or whatever make your choice follow what you believe\ feel is right.

thanks guys. as i said.. im leaving. as my way of running away from my life. me and skyler are brokemn up. he`s hurt, i feel guilty. i havent told him, im goona stop fore 5 min on my way thru towen and tell him im gone. then im away from him and my parents.

thnak u:) and yes, PARTLY why... and hes not a Mennonite.. so thats not fair. And their kind of controlling. its one thing to say, oi dont think you should go. its another to say you CANT go. and forbid you. and they only support me as long as i do exactly as they want.

and sure, maybe i shouldnt be dating skyler. so we broke up. hes hurting SO bad... like he was so into our relationship, and so serious and like we talked about getting married, and like EVERYTHING. sure tell me im a bad person. but that still doesnt change the fact that right now HEs hurting. And that makes me feel pretty bad. caus ei love him and i still want him forveer. so im goona pray . is there any verse in the Bible that says God will give you something if you want it very vey very bad? and if you pray for it all the time? well im goona pray tpo God he will give me skyler.. maybe not now. for now i need to let skyler go, and tell hnim we arent anything. but one day... one day i want skyler.

God promises that He'll give us the best things, and that no prayer goes unanswered. That doesn't mean He'll always give us what we ask for...but He'll give us what we need and what's best. I know that giving up guys isn't easy. It's not too long since there was a guy I really wanted to marry and spend my whole life with, and Dad told him "no"....so, I do understand. Go ahead and pray about it, and know that God will give you the best thing. It's like with kids... If a kid's deathly allergic to peanut butter, no matter how much that kid begs its mom for peanut butter, a good mom won't give it to the child. However, the mom will give the child a cheese sandwich or something - something nutritious that will help the kid...and not kill it.

Jesus says that if human parents can give good gifts to their children, then how much more will our father in Heaven give good gifts to His children! So pray and draw near to God...and pray for Skyler to find God...and tell God exactly what you want, and know that He will give you what's best, in His perfect timing.

And I know it's hard. I'm with you there. But I also know that God is faithful, because day by day, He is proving His faithfulness to me...both on the days when it's easy to trust Him and on the days when I want to just curl up in a ball and cry.

I'm praying for you as well and just keep crying out to Jesus to help you as you go through these trials!
