| We got home from my parents last night, took the baby up to bed (he was asleep) then he started crying inconsolably so we were trying to calm him down. Will had just unloaded the car but I was still going to get something - he didn't know that though so locked the back door and turned off the lights and came upstairs. He was holding Archie, I was brushing my teeth. Then I went down to get my iPod... and the car DOOR is OPEN. I hear footsteps running off down the drive, called Will down... they ran off with the stereo, my iPod and my wallet. They almost got my violin too but dropped it in their haste. We jumped in the car and drove around the block but didn't see anyone or anything They pretty much broke the car too - the indicators don't work now so I can't really drive it! SO yeah I was really really shaken. This was in my driveway, while I was home. I took a while to get to sleep and today I haven't even ventured downstairs yet (its nearly 11am). I have the alarm on and yeah. I'm just so sad about it too because it is so WRONG! I don't care about the stuff, I'm just glad we weren't bringing stuff inside and Archie was still in the car! I'm glad I didn't surprise the guy in the wrong way that he attacked me instead of running away. I know the Lord takes care of his own and that He will never forsake us, but still. my privacy, my HOME has been violated and that hurts a lot. Could you pray that I find it in my heart to forgive whoever it was and to trust that the Lord will take care of us? _________________

| Dear God, Please watch over Heidi and her family, and help them to forgive whoever was the thief. may the person feel guilty and restore thier property. Thank you the baby wasn't in the car! That is a great blessing, we pray in Christs name, Amen _________________ I am a farmgirl with a mission... to get my chores done before it's dark... ahem! | ohhh Heidi I'm sorry! I get so cross when I hear things like that that happen in 'your own backyard'.garrrrrr I know what it's like. Our house got burgled when I was living alone in it. They took my laptop and my sisters new spanking brand new camera. I was thankful that I wasn't home(was during church) but I did get someone to move in with me for a while as I didn't want to stay alone at night. I was getting up for nearly every car that would drive down the street at night, was really tired, which is not a good thing with working shifts at the hospital...! I was really worried, but at the same time I had peace. I know sounds strange, but I kinda did. I pray God will give you that same peace....PTL Archie wasn't there. Count the blessings. Love you! |

| Yeah I know what you mean! A friend told me that they were glad I wasn't home or else knowing me I would have done something and probably have gotten hurt. And you can't replace people........So it was good no one was hurt......... "It is well with my soul!" |
