"Life Verse": Honestly, I don't have one life verse. Different verses have helped me through different times...Jeremiah 29:11-13 and the entire book of James (but particularly the first chapter) have been the most common.

Favorite Authors: The Ludys, Paul (that counts, right?), Janette Oke, Beverly Lewis, Francine Rivers, Frank Peretti, and many more. I'm an avid reader.

Favorite Musicians: I'll listen to anything except for country and rap (unless it's a certain few songs). Most people are shocked by the music I listen to, not because it has bad lyrics, just because they can't picture Katy listening to that. Plus, it's rather eclectic and all over the place.

Favorite Sport: to watch, basketball. to play, soccer.

Favorite Hobbies (yes, I changed it to plural!): reading, shopping, talking on KF! , spending time just talking with friends and family, occasionally writing or journaling, cooking, listening to music, singing, and above all else--spending time with little kids!

Yes, it is a chain. When you come up for my wedding I will treat you to Bugaboo Creek. We have two near our house. I think it's an East Coast chain that goes from Maryland to Maine.
