 Can't find the verse...

is there a verse that talks about fleeing the appearance of evil? or something along those lines?

It's in 1 Thess. 5:22.

"Abstain from all appearance of evil." KJV

Although I always say "Avoid" not "Abstain".

Thanks. I too think of it as "avoid", so when i did an electronic search for it, couldn't find it!

If you Google verses, you can often find someone else who has mis-quoted it the same way you do, and has listed a reference....and then you can find it. Very Happy

hehehe. Of course. Very Happy No, actually, I use Google to find the reference, and then BibleGateway to pull up the verse. Laughing The limitation of BibleGateway is that you can only search one version...and for me, I've heard the verses in so many versions that I never know which one to search.

http://www.biblestudytools.com/ is another good site for finding verses, and it allows you to search in a number of translations (and interpretations...ugh) at the same time.
