| lol. Honestly, whenever I checked out AG, there weren't interesting threads. Girls discussions sometimes are rather boring. "Let's talk through hypothetical plans for our weddings for the 27th time!" I know some girls find that highly interesting, but for me, I'll plan my wedding when I get there and know what season it is, what my man's tastes are, who is in my bridal party, etc. And...it seems that many girls' discussions are things like that which just frankly don't interest me that much. The discussions on the co-ed parts of the forum, though, even if they just have girls in 'em, they tend to be more interesting. *shrugs* I'm weird. _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. | Yeah something like that. I want my hair to look nice, but I'm not going to be part of a lots-of-pages thread about it, 'cause my hair isn't that much of a science. I want a nice simple sweet wedding, but I'm not going to plan every detail just yet. (Seriously, guys, the thread discussing wedding gowns - so, just one little piece of the wedding - is 25 pages long.) So, some of the girls topics I'll comment in, but not enough to be part of a whole different forum (like AG). If we had For Girls Only as a separate forum here, y'all would probably only see me rarely. _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. | lol. I just find it funny mostly... Since I haven't read the thread, y'all might've gotten sidetracked a lot, and there might really only be 20 posts about wedding dresses...but whenever I check the most recent post, it's always wedding dresses. _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. In my experience and the people I've talked to, men don't care what colors you choose, how many layers the cake is, how many brides maids you have, the music you choose, etc. Men just are like, "Whatever you want. I just want the ceremony OVER WITH."_________________ Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new - Albert Einstein |

Or did the color "blue" perhaps figure into our relationship in some special way? (A friend of mine is doing blue bridesmaid dresses for just that reason. ) _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. But I have alot of my wedding plans set ( Although, if lee didn't like them I'd change em) but ... I don't like talking about it really. I'm not decided on my color yet either so.
Although, I do enjoy disscussing girly things, Weddings and hair and sewing is not one of em. How come we never discuss things like snowmachining?
Did any of you know, I have brown carharrt bibs. A hot pink\red coat black expensive! gloves, Black boats, Pink thor ( like the greek dude ) goggles, And a sah - weet! Pink helment? Oh yes, and most importantly a '98 Ski-doo Tundra????!!?!? |

I'm just butting in to say, not always. FH wants pink. Or possibly purple. He doesn't want hymns.
Of course, this would be fine - only I don't like pink and purple and I like hymns. Oh, and the church has red carpet - which will clash beautifully with the hot pink dresses FH wants.
None of this matters in the scheme of things, and it's not a problem. But I think you'd be surprised about what men can care about - FH isn't that much into colours or fashion usually (Left to his own devices, he'd wear brown and blue. Or sometimes blue and brown.) I'm saying this because I was surprised when he requested pink.
(I've said we can have any colour that suits the bridesmaids, but if we get married in his church, it can't be anything that clashes with the carpet.)
Oh, and I like discussing sewing. And knitting. |

I think that many guys think that they're not allowed to participate in wedding decisions...that it's the lady's area. My brother was involved a lot with his wedding-planning; my sister's fiance is involved a lot in theirs. So, even though my FH probably doesn't have the wedding all planned out now...I think it's likely he has some ideas, and I want his ideas to be heard, too. I have guy-friends who do have ideas about their weddings...
The whole thing about the dresses clashing with the carpet made me laugh. hehehehe.
Beth - Sweet! I've never actually been snowmachining... I almost was a couple times, but the closest I've gotten was riding a toboggan behind the snowmachine. Wish we'd owned our own.... _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. Acts 17:11
