haha Muffy and Shrimpy...someone will stumble across this site and think we're all wackos!

I had an ultrasound thingy when I was younger and thought it was awesome! (no, I wasn't worried that I was preggo...I had an insane amount of UTIs when I was little and they thought there might be something wrong...turned out to be a slanted bone that straightened itself out when I grew!) I remember looking at the screen thinking that looked cool and the gel felt cold, but it was kind of fun. Granted, I was about 8 at the time

We didn't get any tests ay... just the one scan at 9 weeks (I thought it was 12 but they said 9)... I actually didn't even book in a midwife til 22 weeks and everyone was kinda shocked it took me so long but there were reasons! We were in America for a while, and I TRIED calling people but they were all booked up!! Plus none of them ever call back if you leave a message lol...

But yeah I think Will would have liked another scan just to see if all was normal but the midwife was soo unconcerned that even though she gave me a form we didn't bother... but still - we don't know if Shrimpy will be physically 'perfect' - you never know, may have all kinds of issues but even if we'd found that out we couldn't change it so what God wills, God wills and yeah its a bit scary if you think about it too much but He who began a good work will complete it! He knows all and it helps build faith!

I've had lots of ultrasounds and I rather like the cold gel. Haha, it amuses me!

Lol! I know, in less than a year, literally, I've gotten together with Ben, got engaged, married and now pregnant... wow. I hadn't though of that before... that's really cool!! Lol, if I can say so myself
I had lunch today with my best friend, and she is soooooo happy She's already reserved me for baby shopping in a few weeks... although I'm not quite in the shopping mood yet, which is weird for me!

I realised last night that I had to try and reschedule my first appt, because a while ago I agreed to babysit for 5 Wednesdays in a row, my appt being on the second Wednesday! I rang up, and 1) was in the system under my maiden name still! Even though the GP referral was with my new name (I'm assuming it's because I'm in the hospital's system from previous visits years ago to the emergency room), and 2) was able to reschedule for the Friday Yay!
