| This actually wasn't today, but it was really funny. I was babysitting four kids for a family, and their oldest boy (5-6) was telling me that he had been watching Pilgrim's Progress. It was all going good until he told me about the part where Pilgrim had to fight Napoleon. ??????
Oh! He meant Apollyon. |

| hehehe. My dad, baby brother (3), and I were the only folks home the other day and Dad and I were in the kitchen doing dishes and chatting about life. Suddenly we realized that Kirk wasn't with us and hadn't been for a bit. Dad walked in to the master bedroom and found Kirk with half the baby-powder shaken out into a pile on th floor. Dad got the vacuum and started cleaning it up and made a comment to Kirk along the lines of, "If you're gonna do that, you might as well just throw it away..." After it was all cleaned up, Kirk asked Dad where the baby powder was. The conversation went something like this: Kirk: "Where is it?" Dad: "It's on Mom's dresser...what do you need it for?" Kirk: "To throw it away..." Dad: "No, I didn't mean that you _should_ throw it away..." _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. | My friend...she told me she was coming past college after my exam to take me to lunch... little did I know she'd also prepared morning tea (cooked, bought fresh fruit, got a happy birthday banner) for me! And she'd told everyone else about it, to make sure that people would be there! _________________ *Larissa*

| We have no stereo in our car (thanks to some opportunists!) and I had to drop Will at work this morning (Yes its Saturday and no he doesn't usually work today!) so on the way home I was singing for Archie (the radio is MUCH better)... anyway I'd seen a Susan Boyle advert so sang 'I dreamed a dream' then carried on with 'Memory'... just as I got to the 'burnt out ends of smoky days, the stale cold smell of morning' I was driving over the Harbour Bridge... just as I took a breath for the next line, the street lights putted out... ... the next line? 'The street lamp dies, another night is over - another day is dawning!' My first thought? 'What an ideal FB status!' _________________
