| I don't know. It might be the "boy-girl" attraction, but I find it more interesting. |

| Actually, it's rather common. I get along with ladies (particularly those younger than me) a whole lot better than I get along with guys. And I've talked with several young ladies who find it easier to talk to guys than it is to talk to other ladies. |

| I am still scared of guys. ( Hence the reason I am usual pretty mean to you boys. ) _________________ I am a farmgirl with a mission... to get my chores done before it's dark... ahem! | I think that a large part of it is that we were created to be complemented by the other gender. So, for me, I love talking things over with my guy-friends 'cause they give me a slightly more rational view on things - girls can be a bit more flighty/emotionally-driven. My guy-friends sometimes like to talk things over with me, 'cause I'll give them a slightly more feelings-based answer (I think I'm more logical than most girls...but still not totally head, a bit of heart ). And...in other ways too...we get a different perspective. My best friend has for years been my friend Andrea - that girl's one in a million. But, I find it really easy to have guys fill the other close-friend positions, 'cause I talk to them more than I do to girls. Sometimes it seems like with girls, if they have a boyfriend (which most of my friends do...), then all you get is " he's soooooo amazing!! Like last night we were sitting watching a movie, and he slipped his arms around my shoulder, and then I was totally and we were and it was AMAZING!" and I'm like, "Yeah, sounds awesome..." but that's about the end of the conversation. This isn't always how it goes, but, there doesn't tend to be the same good conversations... So, I think a large part of why guys like friendships with girls and girls like friendships with guys is because the two genders bring different perspectives and complement each other well. This is part of what marriage will one day be - the perfect complement of each other...but for now, it's just brothers and sisters (in Christ) bouncing ideas off of each other and learning lots in the process. *thinks that might've been way too serious for Fun and Games* _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. | Haha... I promise to never feed you green beans (given that the chance of me ever feeding you is rather slim, it's an easy promise to make!) _________________ *Larissa*

| Tips for taming guys: -Have food -Apply food when subject appears frusterated -Make sure they are sober 100% of the time around you, punch them in the gut real hard if need be. -Make yourself look scary, eating nails helps -Have food -Have a plan to mace every guy you meet -Mace guys at random to get the point across. -Use the guys you tame as backup -Have food -Do not flirt ever, instead of playing "hard to get" play "HA you'll never get me" or "I am taken but never by you" -Have a gun -Shoot that gun in the air at random -Have food |
