Born at 4.19pm on November 18th, Jonathan weighed in at 10lb 9oz (4.8kg), measured 54cm+ (he was longer than the measure on the scales!) with a head circumference of 36.5cm. We went in to hospital at 3pm on Tuesday the 17th, and had a dose of gels put in at 7pm to soften my cervix. I was having mild contractions all night (I just thought they were my back aching!) and they broke my waters at about 8am Wednesday morning. They also took about 5 goes to get a drip in my arm... I'm bruised ...

So, tomorrow is the Big Day. The due date. A 3% chance he'll actually come tomorrow, lol. And I have a couple of prayer requests... Yesterday, I had an appointment with the midwife, and booked in to be induced on the 18th Nov if he hasn't come by then. Long story short, it entails going in at about 3pm on the 17th to start it all, which means I'd be in hospital until I go home after having the baby. NOT ideal at all. I love going to concerts. They're so much fun.

I enjoyed seeing BarlowGirl. Michael Buble was GREAT (and I'd sooo see him again),
but my favorite was definitely Pink's Funhouse Tour. She's so good and really loves her fans. Over 50 shows in Australia, and Britney is only doing 6? Pfffft.

I'm looking forward to Taylor Swift next year, but so far Pink wins.

My exams are next week... 3 are worth 60% of my grade, one is worth 50%... and the thing is, I'm not ready for them! I'm having so much trouble trying to study for them, I've had a majorly short attention span all week, and have felt ridiculously tired since Tuesday (even tho I'm getting more sleep than normal!) Could you please pray that I am able to successfully study, and make the most of my time? Pray for motivation to study, and for good recall when I get into the exams. Thanks!

Loss of a dear friend

I cry in pretty much anything haha. The first movie that ever made me cry was The Fox and The Hound. Movies that get me every time are I am Sam and My Sister's Keeper. I love movies that make me cry coz that means they've made me feel something and when a movie has made me feel something, then it's done it's job. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen (and the best serious Jim Carrey movie). It really made me wonder about purpose and stuff.
It's about a little boy who believes God has put him on Earth for a purpose.

Does anybody do the shoeboxes? My youthgroup is having a lock-in sleepover this weekend. We're all bringing supplies and then we'll make up the shoeboxes during the sleepover. It's super fun. I went to the store today and bought toothpaste and toothbrush, a comb, pony-tail holders, and some gum and tic-tacs. I was going to get a couple of small toys but I was at the store (Safeway) and they had less than a quarter of one side of an aisle with toys!!! I guess it's not close enough to Christmas ...
