Question: We had a couple thousand posts... where did they all go?

Answer:

In order to keep the forum orderly and to prevent misunderstandings from outdated information, a feature known as 'pruning' has been enabled for many of the categories. This is a process controlled by the computer. Once a post has gone a number of days (that number is 30 for most sections) without reply, it is automatically moved to a hidden forum known as the "Basket."

The topics in the basket are then sorted through. The topics that may hold information for future refernce or fond memories are moved to the "Archives." Before being moved to the Archives, they are locked to prevent activity.

Other posts from the "Basket" are 'deleted' by being moved to a hidden folder called the 'trash can.' Keep in mind, the trash can will be used primarily for "Fun & Games" or posts with outdated information.
