| I'm learning that it's so important to follow the gentle promptings of the Spirit. And the more I follow them, the more I notice them. I'm also learning that there is only so much we can do to help our friends. It's kinda linked to the first point, I can do what God calls me to do and enables me to do, but after that, it's up to the person themselves. Of course, we can still pray tho. _________________ *Larissa*

| I keep finding this out again and again. When I want to do something really badly, but it doesn't "feel" right, I need to listen to that. I'm not trying to say I live by my feelings, but I think it's God letting me know through my conscience or something...not sure how to describe it. It's usually pretty clear afterward that I did the right thing, but it's a really hard decision at the time! |

| That when you don't know how to back up your convictions, you look like a complete idiot and no one wants to listen to you. (Not personally, but dealing with someone like that has made me realize *I* *do* need to be able to back up what I believe) _________________ Forum Family *BurntIre* ~ Sister prissyprincess ~ Sister PinkQT ~ Sister songoftherose ~ Aunt (ant) Russ ~ Uncle Jessica ~ Aunt Brittany ~ Mom butterflychicka ~ Sister Sparkling4Him ~ Sister liberatedcaptive ~ Sister |

TC - that is very true...you are dead on.
The lesson God has been teaching me over and over again this past month through different situations is that He will supply all my needs and plan my life the best, and I need to just trust Him. Every plan I had 4 months ago for this next 2 years has been changed, most of them many times...'cause "many are the plans in a man's heart, but the Lord directs his way" (rough quote). I can worry when my plans fall through, or I can re-plan while trusting that God is in control. Believe me, the latter option is much better! _________________ ...they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. Acts 17:11

| I think the Lord is trying to teach me to rely on Him ALONE . . . not friends or family. It can be lonely sometimes, but He IS faithfull! I just found the Ludy's books 4 months ago and am learning SO much! . . . and the discipleship MP3's are really good too!! I want so much to love the Lord my God with ALL my heart, soul, mind, and strength . . . to truly "love not the things of the world" . . . and to find that secret place in the Lord where nothing touches you. Anyway, that's where I am at . . . |
