| A couple days ago I started a study on the life of Mary. It is by Elisabeth George, and it is titled "Nurturing a Heart of Humility." I started it a few years ago but then thought, "Nah... I'm over this. I don't need this book." (ahh...irony) Anyway, this morning I studied the famous Gabriel visiting Mary scene. The place where she says, "be it unto me according to your word." For some reason I had a light bulb moment... like a flood lamp moment. The things that happen in my life have a purpose and humility allows me to fulfill that purpose with joy. Those students that I want to throttle. God has a purpose for them in my life. A reason they are my students... be it unto me. Tonight, I went to nanny for my seven little ones and discovered the basement was flooded! My normal shift of 4-6 became a shift of 4-9. I am utterly exhausted, but there was a reason. That little episode today served a purpose in my life... be it unto me. Really, my mind isn't processing clear enough to write, but that is just something that struck me this morning. If we are truly submissive to the will of God, then trials are no longer trials. They are tasks. |

| About not being lukewarm. God kept dropping "subtle" hints in church today. |

That's cool. 8)
I'm learning about how to be loyal to truth in a world of relativism where "liberty" trumps morality. |

| So many things..most importantly..that I need to go to church every week instead once every six weeks (I usually let school pile up on the weekends.. )..I got so much out of today's message..another major issue is that I can't let my work become my obsession or a God..it's so tempting when I'm freaking out most of the time..but He is good and He provides! _________________ (formerly Butterfly)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything James 1:2-4

| God's teaching me quite a bit right now. Stop going through the motions of Christianity and actually have a burning passion for me. Stop judging. completely. (one person in particular). I are not above God's grace. Even though I haven't murdered someone or been addicted to drugs, I still need His grace. Basically, God knocked me off my high horse yesterday and I really really needed it. What a mighty God we serve! _________________ Mi familia! sisters: Twinkledust Stylnz Kris Berny

| Instead of critiquing and criticizing and complaining, find something to praise in people and rejoice in/for them! |

| Go Matthew West!I've been learning about discipline (not the behaviour management kind!). _________________ Happy mummy!
