Hey guys... I just found out that my thread is going live over on the Rebelution forum! I am SO TOTALLY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

That's pretty cool, Waltzing. I've thought about joining Rebelution but you have to give out a lot of information...perhaps I'm just a bit too secretive. I don't know.

I think it is smart that they approve threads before they allow you to post it. If all of their members started posting whatever they wanted, the forum could end up clogged and repetitive. That's kind of how the new SUSIE mag forum is. Anyone can post anything, and with SO many girls, there are several identical threads.

Well...for one it makes it hard to look through pages and pages of threads. And since there are so many threads, not all of them get a lot of attention. I don't know, I think it is smart to do that on really big forums, especially since The Rebelution has a main purpose.

The Rebelution also doesn't want a lot of 'airhead' or "feathery" threads, they want everything to have a purpose, so they want to be sure that millions of threads aren't being started about pointless topics. I like the idea of approving threads on a forum like that.

Ahh.

It took me 6 months to get my thread out...and to even be on thier forums you have to write 2 100 word essays.!! It is hard, but SO fun!

To me, the Rebelution seems too structured to facilitate useful dialogue. Like...I wanted to join there and get input on my own "Big Hard Thing" and see if anyone else had done something similar...and get advice and networking for it and stuff...but to get the thread posted would take sooo long, if it happened at all... *shrug* Ask my classmates here or at my old school, I'm not afraid of hard things. They get frustrated because I tend to avoid the easy way and take the hard way, believing it'll grow me. So, it's not that I'm just too lazy to go through the trouble of being on the Rebelution; it really seems to me like it would make it too difficult to achieve the goals.

However, all of that just makes it even more impressive that WR got approved! Go girl!

Haha... if you had to get posts approved on here, there would be a grand total of two topics total on the forum... for no particular reason... *COUGHCOUGH*

I like having some "feathery and airy" topics. I've mostly quit the rebelution forum. I go on there once a month if that.
